The COMEC RP 1000 is a flat surface grinder designed to recondition cylinder heads and engine blocks of light and heavy vehicles. As well as all flat surfaces that require perfect precision of the contact planes.
The components of the machine such as the base column of the table and the plate are made of cast iron of excellent quality to obtain high standards of rigidity and resistance. The movement of the table works through an endless ball screw of extreme precision and constancy. With this, it ensures smooth travel even at very low speeds.
The inverter applied to the reduction motor that drives the screw offers a variable advance with a wide range of regulations through the potentiometer.
